New Loopy Song making or LiveSet Templates for SP404 and Koala Sampler and auv3 specific ones etc.

Hi All.

Had some wishes to create a template to Loopy Pro and Koala with using only internal features. So this one is it! No additional auv3's needed. LP is the host and one instance of Koala Sampler is the instrument. You could of course replicate to have like 4 Koala pages for dedicated purposes - but I think it would be a overkill.

Still this template has tens of hours used in modification and testing. So many iterations and probably it will still be changing and fine-tuned.

I try to put it this week to be available in patchstorage as FREE to download. I think it will be HUGE!

Will also provide a video, how actually make a song.. this is something I quickly put together as my busy moments, so didn't have time to focus.. And filmed with my iPhone..

    The worklow of the template:

    Rec to midi with or without automation
    Play it with additional effects or improvise with access to all pads in one page
    Rec to audio – move audio to sketch page
    Organize to scenes in Sketch or in Song page depending how big your song is.
    Play with scenes and add-on functionality
    And rec to Song Clip with EQing involved. Adjust with your need.. export the clip and it will be in format song.wav

    Sorry! Template is growing with SP features added... Will probably create specific and rip off from this mother of my LiveSet Templates...

    This is the current state of the Loopy Pro LiveSet template or from yesterday, already did some improvements ;-)

    There are now two pages specific for SP404 Mk2. One for 160 pads and another one for 80 patterns (could do all the 160, but maybe there is no need really per project).

    Just to show some examples and part of the functionality - Part II following soon.
    Like just now separated the midi data and automation midi data, so you can use them also separately.

    My main thought is when you can record as many clips with midi as polyphony allows, what to do anymore with patterns in SP? Ok, maybe because I can create with standalone as well ;-)

    Anyways I think this combi with Koala Sampler, SP 404 Mk2 and variety of auv3 offers a comprehensive playground for inspiring creations..

    I'm going to share the full template in Gumroad soon for very small price, because of the hundreds of hours spend. There will be FREE editions as well - stay tuned

    Hi All

    This is my second video of the Loopy Pro Template for SP404 Mk2.
    It will be a nice and modular playground to create with it.

    Already it has tens more features than in the video and evolving all-the-time. So I think I will release this in next week.

    Managed to separate it from my huge LiveSet I have. Now only one page for SP midi and. midi automation, another one for Mastering and then a Song page with scene triggering with nice add-on features and ability to record to a song clip

    Will still test as I want it all to work.
    Have separated play / stop / rec buttons for midi and audio (not yet in video version, but in the latest)

    HUH! Having created this 5 pages BIG Loopy Pro Template for SP404 Mk2.. it has been a crazy amount of effort.

    Starting my series of videos about it. This one is about page 3, which is created for patterns and using them with efx.

    You can access the Template in thetemplatedude.gumroad.com as well as my Koala SoundSets ;-) btw - they are usable with SP - more later

    To have all the efx with all the cc controls exposed quickly adjusted by this Template is HUGE. And you can record the result to audio clips and move nice clips to song page.. Also all the 160 samples are accessible in the one page or you can play and record midi with effect automations.

    And more later about Loopy Pro midi / audio clip handling, it's so convenient.

    Check my other shorts and videos about this templates they so the direction and some of the potential, but I have some surprises in my upcoming videos as we..

    Just made some updates and will have some to my SP404 Mk2 Loopy Pro templates. The renewed song page shown in the beginning in the video - like it quite much, so maybe add that approach to some other templates as well
    .
    If I don't want to do always use midi automation or midi clips - can directly record the sp output and inputs to song page scenes.

    Recording from the inputs will be shown more in my upcoming video. So stay tuned..

    Just wanted to shortly demo, how to get content to LiveSet Template for Loopy Pro. Directly rec to song page, or use other pages. At this time using Arturia Astrolabe and SP404 Mk2 to bring material to song in..

    PAGES 1-9:
    Instrument pages for drums, percussion, bass, Keys, Guitar, Traditional, Brass, Pads and vocs - all with tens of efx controls (And supporting the 8x8 grid and Launchpad for triggering and choosing pages.

    PAGE 10
    Koala page to use Koala FX with midi automation and midi clips and then rec to audio.

    PAGE 11
    SP404 Mk2 page to rec midi automation and midi clips and then bring to audio.

    PAGE 12
    Auv3 instrument page to rec to midi and audio and copy clips to any page

    PAGE 13

    Mastering page for EQ:ing and using Grand Finale mastering (browsing presets and adjusting some sliders)

    Hi All.

    This is very compact but so capable to produce songs with it and will be shared for FREE.

    FEATURES

    9 auv3 instruments that can be separately recorded to midi, but you can play along with activated midi instruments.

    Audio recording from midi scenes playback or directly with auv3 efx buses

    You can also use input alongside (also with external midi - tested with Arturia Astrolab 37)

    Also got 6 effect sends and 2 performance efx sends per instrument and some xy playing possibility etc. Probably will still make a few improvements to make it even nicer to use - while testing..

    After producing so many more than ten pages templates, I'm able to put some core ideas to song making with auv3s.
