30 years ago, I heard Tennessee Waltz by The Bill Holman Band on the radio and loved it so much that I bought the CD, A View From The Side. I still play it from time to time (burned in lossless), and I dig it as much as ever. That album may not be available on the usual steaming services but there’s plenty of other Bill Holman to be had online.

I first heard this many years ago on a local community college radio station. They always play the best music! I hadn't heard it in years and it just popped up on the right side of the screen in Google. I knew there are a few others out there that love this stuff as much as me, so I just decided to post it. These guys are top drawer. I spent years of my youth in big bands. On a very few rare occasions I was fortunate enough to sit amongst musicians of this caliber.
