Limiters add latency because of lookahead, but compression is generally done in realtime.
That makes sense. So I guess if you encounter any latency, you could always toggle and disengage the limiter if need be, and just make nice nice with your volume levels @filo01
Dang. It happened late last night, and when I checked Today I didn’t see it right away. Mr Bell sometimes does the Riffler sales for short periods of time, but that was less then 24 hours.

Thanks @Squishy and @timfromtheborder. In the meantime, I found Toneboosters MBC has also saturation (per band) and you can divide frequency spectrum up to 10 bands. Now I'm wondering if this might actually be an even better solution than the Medusa(?). Primarily for use in the signal chain before the guitar.

Yea don’t think it has any, but can always screen record while playing it then extract the audio from video. Obviously Not ideal, but allows you to use the audio you make in a project.
