Echo Beach sampler
Googled the site for mention of this and didn’t see it. It’s a Koala-like sampler with stem export. Looks interesting, but I wonder why you wouldn’t just use Koala.
Comments
I think it’s unfair to compare it to Koala. It’s fun to make loops with it but I find it doesn’t export as expected. I have been in contact with the dev with quick response so far. Just sent him an email about the export issue. Early days. See where it goes.
What’s the nature of the unexpected export surprise?
Nothing happens if I try to export Master. He’s on it. Already got back to me.
It needs some work. Sample positioning and zoom could be better handled. Temp change/selection is horrific and I can't actually see what the tempo is. It's interesting, and hopefully after a period of revisions it will be more usable. I think the UI has some way to go.
Direct contact. Very responsive.

The app was up in the sales thread before (this thread) and there @Halftone tells us he communicated on Reddit with the developer, who told him: AuV3 and Ableton Link will be implemented in a future update. I've heard that assurance a bit too many times to be convinced but thought I should mention it.
recent update also said improvements to the UI and bpm control. I'm not seeing any change after the update. But I'm happy to wait and see what develops.
How is it with this app now after updates?
The new update seems interesting
Still no Auv3 though….
Anyone with experience with this app?
A review says its buggy and crashes.
So it’s safe to assume it’s not very populair 🙂
I think nobody really knows about it. It’s seen some significant updates since it first came out. It’s along the lines of the Teenage Engineering PO’s.
