Yeah, I was hoping Proem had a gumroad or some such preset library. Those included presets are fantastic for my style.
I did find a differing fella who has 180 continua presets for $40

I think the IAP purchases should be a good move.
We had Proem ( an American artist ) tunes and albums in a Wetherspoons kitchen ( 2003 ) in England.
That were in between normal club music of dance and drum and bass, so wernt completely sold until a few years later.
Any specifically recommendable?
I scored the SEQ and StepFX, the LFO one looks like a winner- there's a great video on the LFO Extension by a_mortal_mage (dev)
How about the harry gohs apps?
The reviews are very opposite
Some find them great and unique unlike any other spp.
Others find them buggy unintuitive and abandoned.
Resona is from the same dev and also free.
Tera Pro is excellent but you'd absolutely need to read the manual, it's got a unique workflow.
Virsyn is nearly always top notch in terms of audio quality. (Xinematix is an exception for me, I don't like it much, but some love it). Harry the dev is also a fab preset maker and sound designer.
They're not always brilliant in terms of UI design, whether from a usability perspective or a looks perspective. Some of them look a bit 'cheap'.
Some are hard to learn, others are easy enough.
I don't remember running into bugs but it's probably also because, although I got many of the collection, I ended up using very few of them over the long term. Tera Pro and Cube Synth Pro are the only ones I still use. f you're worried about bugs in a particular app you're thinking of buying, you should probably ask in a dedicated thread whether people are still using that app and whether there are any bugs in the current version.

Is the app, an app that resizes. Like how you expect. Snaps to window etc ?

I made a mad patch with Cube synth pro.
Tera Synth is one of the best synths ( if not the best ) on ipad. Along with the iap. A good synth layer chain. I cant make mutable instrumemt layers sound as good with ringsFX, nor with spectrum.
Still debating wether id now use Butter synth for wavetable.
You cant be so cheap though.
Tera is worth it.
Are you only inquiring about the synth apps? I don’t have any of those, but I’ve gotten really interesting results from ReSlice and Tap Delay. They take some figuring out, and the UI may seem a bit primitive and quirky considering what we’ve all become accustomed to, but I like them a lot.

Nice find. I like the ui. Wonder how it sounds..
+1 for Tera Pro. Once you add in the IAPs its a sonic powerhouse unlike anything else out there but yes it has a unique workflow but does make sense with a bit of perseverence. I've found it very stable and I've used it a lot and quite a few of my patches are complex.
I love some of the Xinematix sounds, maybe not all, but some of the string and orchestral and vocal patches are some of the best available, to my ears. The inbuilt effects are not brilliant but just pipe it through your favourite effects.
Tera Pro is meant to have an update coming - the dev teased a significant update a while back, with new live input processing, and also I think a new CloudZ IAP, but months later there's no word, so not sure what's going on there.
AddStation is also excellent, but its arpeggiators run out of sync, and it is quite CPU hungry.
I've been using teraverse for along time, always avoided Tera pro either because of the iaps or unintuitive workflow comments.
Teraverse is good enough for me- it sounds great with Fauve, and Fractal Bits w/ Yukawa or koshiba (gated delay)
Not sure. No connectivity on this one. I’m curious if the export is only audio, or you can export midi as well.
There are patch banks available to purchase from several sources. With a quick search in your browser of choice you can find them. I believe the desktop patches work on iOS, so more likely to find patches to buy, if that is what you are looking for… cheers

Depends, Teraverse is nice simple, and sounds good, Tera, and Tera pro too. Audiolayer can be useful. Addstation is good, but as someone else remarked I don’t often find myself reaching for many of these apps. That could be because I have so dang many, lol.
