Doesn't sound great, ui sucks horrifically
That's the iPhone view.
Would avoid
Thanks cause in the video it sounded good.
I shouldn't discourage yall from being ripped off either, so apologies for saying to avoid. I reckon it can only get better.
I have to say, I think it sounds great. I’m pleased with it. The UI is OK on my iPad. The top row is on the tiny side but once you know what’s what it’s no big deal. It does exactly what it says, dark pads and drones. All parameters are exposed in AUM as well. 😎✌🏼
Can't run it on my iPad req 18.6. Got it for iPhone support. Unuseable for me
Thanks @anickt

Not anymore
Yeah I kinda like it as well. The UI isn’t perfect no, but 4 bucks for an auv3 drone/ambient synth, that from what I’m hearing are some pretty unique sounds? Heck yeah, I’ll rock it!
Geez really. I admittedly didn’t see it immediately but still… either it was a regional sale, extremely short, or a glitch on App Raven
Update - it is no longer listed on sale in the States. That was quick.
The only thing that makes sense is that these are flash sales, maybe 24 hours only. Probably by the time I see it, share it, and then you see the sale in a post… combined with your location in the world, it could end up leaving a small window to catch a 24 hour sale solely using this thread.
If interested in buying a particular app on a short sale like this I’d recommend using an “app wish list” app, or another way to get a notification anytime the price of Riffler changes in your location. It wouldn’t be fool proof but it would probably give you a better shot a snatching these recent elusive riffler sales. 🤞
Right on, I hoped the iPad experience might be better, how is it on CPU/DSP? Relatively speaking.
I think it was a “flash sale”, like the companion app a few days ago.
Agreed.
Folks still using Digistax2?
Digistix2? Occasionally. It’s a great app. I mostly use pop drummer and oneshot now though.
These worth getting? Getting a bit limited for space and trying to be more conservative with what I download.
Yea, but defer to one shot more since I bought it. I have a bunch of kits I built in DS2. I haven’t even started kit building in one shot.
They are ok, some better than others, you can always download and then delete the ones you don’t like. That way as long as they are on the store you’ll have access to them.
I believe they are an exposed version of the Apple Audio Units, the same ones in GarageBand and AUM.
Additionally - I believe the backstory goes something like this…. Not certain on this, but I think for a while these au fx were on devices but inaccessible outside of using GarageBand. They were AU’s Inside GarageBand but there was no way they could also be used elsewhere . I think Jens, or someone out there, figured out a way to “expose” these hidden audio unit fx, which allowed people to use them elsewhere. AUM had an update awhile back that added most of these Wrapped Units, as free au fx inside the AUM app as well.
