JWM - A Walk in a Dark Park (Drone Ambient produced in Koala)
Honestly, the way people dunked on the "Dark Park" plugin, I was hesitant to purchase it at first. I should've known better than to believe some of what I read. I dropped the $4 on "Dark Park", sampled it three times into Koala Sampler with different held notes, recorded my live performance, and honestly this app is marvellous!
"Dark Park" reminds me of the Korg Gadget AUv3s in that it's simple to use on the surface. However, the sounds that "Dark Park" is capable of creating seem randomly unstable, producing some great results that are anything but boring and stale. Sure, this isn't Audiothing's "Noises", but it doesn't need to be. It is what it is, and I must thank @lewisleval for this gem.
The live performance I recorded was as follows: Koala -> Stratosphere Cloud Reverb -> AUM's limiter just to catch any possible stray peaks (there were none due to recording the live performance at a reasonable level). Mastered in Cubasis 3 with Taip, Bark Filter, Cubasis' Brickwall, and Youlean's Loudness Meter.
Yes, I produced this piece of drone Ambient to make a point. 😂

I see you're out of your writing slump. Great stuff but I don't recommend listening with headphones. Speakers are a little easier on the ears with all that movement from speaker to speaker.
Lol! Headphones are where it's at. 😂 Lots of good movement in this piece.
All I hear is fluctuating noise honestly. Maybe my ear to brain cooter isn't charged up or something I dunno.
Yall like that static?!
Really? You can't hear the tones?
I did eventually, yeah.
Cool.
Thanks mate. ❤️ Sometimes though, a piece of Experimental music can sometimes consist solely of static. Known often as Noise Music. I don't normally produce that subgenre of Experimental music though.
I can appreciate Noise. I like these drones - well done!
Thank you so much, mate.
Nice, Jim!
Thank you kindly, my friend.
Next up - Lofi.
Do it!
Bet.
You're fast, Jim. Like it!
Thanks mate. I'll finish it up after my gig tonight. ☺️
