New speech synthesis module in Drambo .

I was just exploring the Speech synthesis module in Drambo (with latest update) and not sure what the “line” knob’ does exactly . I would guess it selects or scrolls through various typed text phrases but I can’t seem to get any more than just one phrase to play . I looked for online info or help and couldn’t find much on this . Any help is appreciated . Thanks.

    I haven't extensively tried it, but I've read, that in line-mode, the midi notes up from c2 play one line each, so type "something" press enter, type "something else", them press c2 get "something", press c#2 get "something else".

    This is the first thing I tried when it came out, nothing fancy just seemed appropriate, but you can get how different notes trigger each line of the text (vocoder is there for the melody)

    You can also switch to gate mode (disconnect midi and connect gate to midi2cv) and modulate the line index for random words

    As far as I know this Drambo module uses the Speech API included in macOS/iOS/iPadOS and renders the text to a samples which are then triggered. This is partially why there might be some initial delays for longer phrases and knob changes.
