I was just about to pull the pin on NoiseSpace, watched all the vids….until I realised I did all this last time it was on sale, and decided against it due to the (comparatively) limited background options.
It’s a terrible thing, getting old. Memory and that. No doubt I’ll repeat the whole process when it goes on sale again…

I recorded a short text in there. No transcription was generated, although auto transcribe was on. Anyone know where the transcriptions are hiding? Looked up and down the app... Nada!

I went ahead and grabbed it too. Sounds ok, but unfortunately the UI text is so small on my ipad 5th gen I can’t make sense of the settings yet. So i don’t know how to use arps. I can only make out (and not very well) the names of the patches. Will find a magnifying glass and try it out later today.
It doesn’t really have a proper arpeggiator. There are just a few arp ‘presets’. These are just midi files built into the app, they play a fixed pattern of midi notes, totally fixed, not even the scale or root note is adjustable. So if you want to play more versatile arpeggios, you’ll have to use a third party arpeggiator app to do it.
At that price it’s worth it.
3gb+ is huge amount to allocate in my little 64gb iPad. So I’ve had to delete it already. A shame because I’ve not fully explored it.
I’ll free up space when I finish a couple of things and then I’ll give it a proper look. It’s a good allrounder but unfortunately I have apps that do the dedicated 1 sound and they eat storage.
Yeah, I sacrificed Loopmix- I only use my own loops in it anyway… I mean the guitar samples and midi files for 5.99 sounds better ( to me ) than the new Korg Guitar pack… plus some of the midis are things completely new to me, I don’t get t(e drag and drop midi thing they advertise tho
