    Done

    Cool. Cheers.

  • dssamplespread looks really intriguing! but it would be helpful to see an example of an actual instrument created with it and/or maybe some kind of tutorial video.

Indeed, or maybe there’s a beta interested types could jump on?

@Ailerom actually i do have a beta version which is just AU and has a tracker style sequencer for the slices. I wasnt sure if anyone would like that?

This sounds really interesting. I was thinking this morning how fun it would be to have a synth or AUv3 instrument that had a built in tracker sequencer, instead of the typical step sequencer with 1-2 octave range.

  • both of these are pretty intriguing. dh slice could be like an asr-10. can you import a bunch of samples to slice into one instrument?

No its more of a sample chopper like Recycle was in the 90s. But you can play the slices individually with midi and also have some editing functions. The next update will include more functionality to the AU side of the app - EQ, Comp, HP and LP filter. I do have a version which has a tracker built in which is fine a bit like Renoise does - but its just for me at moment until I decide what to do with it :) If there was genuine interest then maybe I would add that too - but Im the only tester at moment as there not been much feedback from testflight unfortunately :(

+100 on this. I love using trackers for samples.

  • I have a question about dh spread @dblonde , when I open a saved .dhss-file the sample(s) aren't there, just the mapping. Am I missing something?

  • @lasselu thats a bug :(
Let me look into that this week and get it fixed. Im not near my mac with the xcode this weekend so cannot look at it until Teusday. I will get it fixed OK!
