time signature switching

I am experimenting with the time signatures and how to switch them. There is an action for that called adjust beats per bar.
Now I am using a button to go from 7/4 to 6/4 with a one bar quantised action.
The results is weird with additional unexpected beats before the switch happens.
Eventually I’d try to set up two actions on the button switching seamlessly from 7/4 to 6/4 and then back to 7/4 after two bars for example. Is that even possible to do?

Somehow it was hard to audibly record what is happening

    Can you post still screenshots of your action settings?

    Your video seems not to be available. Still screenshots are important in any case as they are easier to read. When you post them also describe what you intend to happen.

    Are you making sure to quantize the action timings so that they only happen at the right time?
