Crossfading

What is crossfading in loopy ( I know how to setup fades )

Ideally, it might be like Audiothing Noises.

Even if loopy donuts are triggered by external midi ( or anywhere on a sequencer )

Some sort of crossfade might blend nicely with next donut ( essentially a bit of a mixer ) or like Noises app.

Are crossfades anything like described ?

    What do you mean by “what are crossfades in Loopy”?

    There is a “loop boundary crossfade” parameter for loops that sets the length of crossfade of the beginning and and which provides click prevention.

    Loops also have fade-in/fade-out settings. They can be set for clips at global, color or individual level. Play actions can specify fade-in/out, too.

    Crossfading two clips could be handled a number of ways. You could set a fade out in the first clip and fade-in for the second — stopping the first and starting the second do that they overlap. Or you could have an action that does the same. You could have an action that ramps the clip volumes to achieve a crossfade.

    Manual crossfades ( sort of a better mix ) done after arranging/sequencing, could be good enough.

    I guess I were hoping for reworked/auto crossfsdes, should the clips not be correctly sequenced lol.
