Please Check it: Feature request for the MIDI Editor
Two years ago I complained about the MIDI editor being “worky”.
A year ago I made a feature request
https://feedback.loopypro.com/posts/262/improved-midi-clip-navigation-combining-loopy-pros-and-xequence-2s-features
I was just sitting at the library editing bassline and I find it a piece of work every time
Why can’t it be like Xequence?
-That you can pinch to zoom and still be able to move horizontally and vertically?
We all know it is a bugger to work on the phone and pad, to get the right size to grab the note we want. It takes forever to hone in on the right area to zoom, then to make the entire movement again
All love! I think Loopy deserves a better editor.
Please check my request..
Let me hear from you if you happen to agree, I’d like to move it up the ladder
Additionally, zooming and re scaling in the editor moves jagged and un-smooth it could use graphical fidelity

Bump
Gonna help out by tagging @Michael @espiegel123 and @wim . Hope they can help.
@_smund : the preliminary focus of the midi looping is accurate recording (including MPE) and playback. Long-term there will be improvements in the MIDI editing. In the near-term there are other priorities.
@jwmmakerofmusic : as an fyi, there is no need to tag Michael or me in posts in this category. I read them all.
Posting requests on the feedback site and bringing them to people's attention so that they can upvote them if they share the feeling about the request's priority, like @_smund has done, is the best path.
@_smund is just doing a little bit of advertising for his feature request. No harm in that. 😎
But yeah, that one feels like it's gonna be way down the road. Not that I mind. Tweaking MIDI to death isn't what I go to Loopy for. It's what I go to Loopy to encourage myself to escape.
Upvoted though because what's not to love about the idea of an elegant piano roll?
Wait till you make a bassline @wim !
Happy Zooming!
(:
Thank you ladies and gentlemen, for nagging
