"Soft Breaks" (BoC-inspired piece of Ambient in Gadget)

Deep bass, soft drums that come in after a couple minutes, soaring highs, and decent mids to fill out the rest of it. The breakbeat is Stockholm, that Dr. Octo Rex thingamabob. The deep bass is Dublin. The high melody is Kiev, and the fifths pad is Montpellier. It's really that simple. Each part is set to its own bar length. 🤷‍♂️ I like polymeters, so there's that, lol. Just a little something quickly thrown together without much thought just to unwind after my piano gig this evening.

I'm going to try something more musically complex tomorrow in Gadget within this style, so stay tuned for that. Cheers.

    Turns out BoC are from Cullen in Scotland, home of Cullen Skink a fish soup made out of smoked haddock.
    I’ve been there and this track is nothing like the soup as there is nothing fishy about it !
