While I wasn't involved in this app, it's kind of cool. And Free now.
Now supports Mac, iPhone, iPad, and AUv3 for desktop and mobile.

There's a one time donation fee if you want your practice history. But all the features are basically unlocked now if you want to check it out

    Really, on mine it say its a 7 day free trial.

    I just downloaded it today. And don’t see any additional updates. Maybe its remnants of the older version, but it also has the $19.99 iap.

    Does yours not say 7day free trial on the settings page?

    @Poppadocrock I checked with Aure (the developer) and he is going to update that screen as it is confusing

    Okay, from Aure:

    Metronome Hero is now free! all visualizations, input modes, scoring, and challenges are fully unlocked. (the 7-day trial countdown is just for unlocking session history)
