JWM's Music (rest of) April 2026 (various genres within!)

So I saw @Gavinski mention that people would prefer frequent posters to organize their posts into one thread. I'm going to go about halfway and post monthly threads from now on (unless I release an EP/Album) so to better organize the Creations section. ❤️ This way, I don't create some wild mega thread where everything gets lost and people lose attention, but I'm also not flooding the Creations section with a ton of posts either. 😂 Now onto my next piece of music...

(Nu Disco Instrumental in Korg Gadget)

I had a very strong dream last night. I can't remember a damn thing about it except this song! I had to get it all out in Gadget before I lost it forever. The song had singing in it, but I couldn't make out the lyrics (or at least couldn't remember the lyrics), so instead of singing, I have a piano overtake the "singing" part.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this. 🙏🪩

Edit - Adjusted the title to add "music" to it. 😆 I realized people may not know what this thread is for.

Comments

  • Bump up. Let me know if you enjoyed the track. ❤️

  • Good idea to organize …I’d do the same but I don’t get early the same foot traffic lol

My thread only has one view so far. 😉 Lol, joking of course.

But yeah, I wish to read more replies here rather than my music seemingly languish and be ignored. I like replies, but barely get anything. As mentioned in another thread, it would be nice to have a "likes" system in place in case someone is strapped for time and isn't able to respond with text.

    Cheers, friend. 🍻

    Thanks mate. :)

(Hard Triphop in FL Studio Mobile)

Was really hard to pinpoint one genre for this piece, but it's as if Prodigy and Boards of Canada had a bastard child in the pits of hell or something. 😂 Whatever, I hope you enjoy.

@jwmmakerofmusic dude, that disco song is amazing, perfectly executed. B)

Edit: makes me think I need to take another look at Gadget.

Mate, I'm so glad you like it. ❤️ Cheers! 🍻

    (Videogame OST Lofi Hip-Hop)

This piece is like classic late 90s/early 2000s videogame music, but with a Lofi beat. Enjoy. ❤️

(Orchestral Electronic "Ambient" Chillout in FLSM)

So I recreated the Bark Filter Tripleband preset in FL Studio Mobile's multiband compressor and wanted to create a track to test that out. I also wanted an excuse to create something blending orchestra and electronics at a slow and chill pace. Hope you all like it. ❤️

  • I think you are delivering increasingly interesting work, Jim, my compliments, I have really enjoyed most of it, frenq <3

Thank you, my friend. I greatly appreciate it. ❤️

  • Love Lucky Seven! Good stuff!

Glad you liked it mate! Plenty more music on the way. I got commissioned to make an "80s Track", so I'm thinking orchestral synthwave. 😎

Me too, lol. Just waiting for the client to specify further what he's looking for for his 80s track. Might not even be orchestral synthwave.

    (80s Synthwave in FLSM)

This one is definitely a more straightforward track within a more established genre of music. Enjoy a nostalgia trip back to the 80s with this fun little piece of client work. ❤️

    @jwmmakerofmusic - dig it!

Thanks mate. :) My client was pleased too. Means I did a job well done.

    (Experimental 100% Synthesized Hip-Hop Beat)

My entry for my own "Desert Island Synth" challenge, using only instances of 3xOSC in FL Studio Mobile to synthesize everything. :)

  • Off-topic, but honest to goodness I am sick of my Airpods Pros always "charging to the recommended limit"! When I pull an all-day music production session, I want my stuff charged to 100% so it can reliably get me through the day! Screw it, I ordered some Beats Solo headphones (the old pair broke back in December).

    (Triphop with a Trance Edge)

Made another track today while waiting for my Beats headphones to arrive. Enjoy. ❤️

Edit - Also, I'm back to mastering music in Cubasis 3. The Bark Filter preset I created for FLSM is fine, but it tends to "pump" the music too much. Bark Filter itself is more "transparent" if that makes any sense.

  • For the rest of this month and beginning of next month, I'm producing a 4-track Tech House EP for a client. 😎 So I'll probably post snippets here and then open my "JWM's Music May 2026" thread with the completed EP.

  • Ah, your very own Jimtunes Corner. This is a great idea as it makes it easier to keep up with your output!

Agreed, mate. :) I'm going to do this "by month" so it doesn't turn into a megathread, but it doesn't eat up a bunch of space in the Creations section either. I'm unsure why I didn't think of this sooner. 😂

  • Jim you’re a one man Hit Factory, can’t believe how much music you produce.
I tend to prefer your quieter tracks but Shadows of Darkness is a belter.
    Also enjoyed Anjaleas Stream Theme.
Just need to catch up on May now 🤔

Glad you dig what I made so far. :) And yeah, I tend to produce a lot of music. Past couple of days, I've been a bit stuck mentally and churned out some joke tracks, lol. I may return to making bangers soon. 😂
