Volume midi mapping

Volume midi mapping ( per clip )

Are these parameters exposed, with paid loopy upgrades ?

So I can automate in Drambo.

You can midi map that and also with some work can expose them as AU parameters.

Midi mapping and exposed parameters are different things.

Do you know how to use loopy pro’s midi learn system?

Not sure if it will be worth it ( 16 x 8 ) knobs visible on a Drambo window AU.

    But not sure.

I start by exposing a loopy parameter in Drambo ( Parameters are just numbers, starting from 1 )

The volume parameter in loopy midi mapping ( for clip )

Set it as same same midi data as the exposed Drambo knob ( choose sources like audio unit or Drambo )

The exposed knob in Drambo dosent move the loopy volume.

Is there no way to just tell the volume parameter to be parameter 1 ?

If you are using MIDI, midi learning inside Loopy will be much faster than using AU parameters.

You can choose what to expose as AU parameters using the exposed parameters set up in the AU but that is much more time-consuming than midi learning the clip volume control inside the Loopy AU.

The only reason Id need these parameters is to automate, so would need to map in Drambo.

Theres a number list of parameters available in Drambo but are just numbers.

How would I make a parameter work with a number from the au parameter list ?

In the exposed parameter settings, you set up the parameter you want to expose. You will have to keep track of which parameter number does what. Imo, if you are using MIDI in the first place, it will be faster to send MIDI from Drambo into the AU and use the AU's MIDI Learn.

Made cc knobs from Drambo to Loopy.

Will see how automation is now.

In Loopy, go into midi learn mode, touch the thing you want to control, adjust the action for that item in the MIDI Learn panel (for a clip, the default will be play but you can choose Adjust Parameter to control the volume), turn the cc knob in Drambo and Loopy will learn it.

    Il keep my volumes automated.

but trying to build a multi out Audiothing Noises.

Better just using Audiothing noises lol.

    Thanks.
