Issue: Loopy Pro and Connecting a Yamaha Montage via USB for external looping

Hello, I have tried to get a Yamaha Montage M series to work with Loopy Pro, and I am unable to get audio into Loopy Pro. I have tried other IOS apps such as Cubase and Logic Pro for the iPad with no issues

Has anyone been successful with the two? What setting works for both Montage and Loopy Pro (I seem to have tried them all)?

Thank you

If other apps are able to get audio from it, Loopy Pro should, too. I don't know of any device where this isn't the case. So, I'll need to ask you to try a few things.

What OS version are you running and what type of device?

    • As a first step, shut down your device and disconnect all attached devices.
    • Boot up your iPad
    • Connect the minimal number of devices to to connect the Montage.
    • Open Loopy Pro
    • Create a new project with Loopy Pro's default project
    • Check in the Loopy Pro System Settings panel and make sure multi route audio is turned off
    • Open Loopy Pro's mixer
    • Tap on the input channel's input icon at the top of the mixer's channel strip
    • Take a screenshot
    • Tap where it says the Input selection
    • Take a screenshot
