The closest to that particular sound is probably GRFX from Imaginando. Especially the resonant marimba-like effect. It’s an effect so you can use it on any synth.
yeah pretty much any synth sound put through a granular effect and treated to a shimmer or other lush reverb/delay - see ios cascade (lol)

For synths, SpaceCraft, FRMS, Quanta 2, or Tardigrain will get you there. Otherwise, the already mentioned FX will work. GRFX is by the same folks who put out FRMS. GRFX is useful but it is resource intensive and heats up the battery pretty good on my 2020 11" iPad Pro. Lots of sound control though.
I’ve been looking for something similar to SoundGhost’s Cascade as well. From my experience apps like AUM or Audiobus can offer some similar routing capabilities though they don't match exactly what Cascade does. It’s all about how well the app lets you control and manipulate sound in real time. For a similar experience you could try DM1 or DrumPerfect Pro for percussion or rhythmic effects. Though not identical, they’re quite flexible for sound design and might get close to the type of control Cascade offers.
Howdy,
Apologies for the shameless plug...
My new synth ANALOGy8 can sort of do a granular-like effect using modulation sources targetting individual oscillators. Here's a quick demo with a slightly tweaked version of the Ice Granules factory preset.

Sounds so awesome @Rob_Jackson_Music
I’ll have to take a look. Thanks for the video. I’m very much interested in a dedicated synth for this rather than trying to make it work with a synth and effects.
The shimmer reverb is an integral part of Cascade.
Drambo users can replicate this e.g. by using two intelligently controlled Flexi Samplers and add a shimmer reverb (like this one: https://patchstorage.com/shimmer-reverb-2/) effect after them. But you'll still need the sample content like in Cascade.
I found it very fun and unique-sounding to play with that concept using sampled snippets from web radio but I understand that not everyone wants to spend the time.
