Help me find this AUv3 sampler

Yesterday morning I used an AUv3 plugin (unfortunately I don’t remember which one) where I could load a sample. What stood out was that the attack of the sample seemed to get faster as the velocity increased, and slower at lower velocity.

From what I remember, the plugin also worked with slices — I think it allowed slicing the sample, although I’m not 100% certain. Visually, I recall seeing the attack point move depending on the velocity.

It might even have been a beta version of a newer app, but I’m not sure.

It’s not Drambo — I’ve already checked.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? Any idea which plugin might offer this kind of behavior?

Thanks for your help.

  • If you were working in AUM, you can list apps by ‘Last Used’.

    unfortunatly it was Loopy pro

  • You can certainly easily set up Outgrowth so that velocity modulates attack and you can see the attack slider respond accordingly in real time.

  • Elliot Garage sEGments?

  • Did it look like koala but white? Sitala.

  • Echo Beach maybe

  • Thanks everyone for your help. It might be Echo Beach, but I still haven’t figured out how I managed to achieve this.

  • Dawnbeat?

It could be DawnBeat too, but as with Echo Beach, I couldn’t find how to modulate the sample start position with velocity. The mystery remains.

  • The real question is: which sampler allows you to change the playback start position according to velocity?

In Drambo you could map the velocity from a midi2cv to the offset of a Flexi sampler.

    As already said, Outgrowth does.
