Cc range to note?
Hey,
I’m trying to figure out how to trigger a series of buttons with a fader.
For example button one would fire 0-24
Button 2 would fire 25-50
Etc.
You will be my favorite person in the world if you can solve this for me.
Thank you.

Do you want the buttons to fire only one time in the range? Is the fader always going to move through the range? I.e. what should happen if it fader moves to 30 then moved again?
Where do notes come into it?
Seems to me like a stepped dial would be much better for this. The gesture motion is the same as a fader, it just looks different. Each step would have its own action to trigger the right button ... if you even need the buttons then, since the stepped dial provides feedback if you able the steps.
If you need a fader, you can set one up to trigger the dial widget.
If you want buttons, then you can substitute a radio button grid for the stepped dial above.
.
I have a fader that controls an effect.
But I also want it to control LEDs which are triggered via midi.
The buttons are various light configurations.
I want them to change during the different range of the fader.
Picture a grid of 25 LEDs with a horizontal line that moves as the fader moves.
@wim
I will try that, thank you.
@Ego_Likeness : you might consider the free midi messenger plugin. You can send it midi messages and set up other messages sent in response. You could send CC’s from your fader to midi messenger that trigger midi messenger to send events to trigger your buttons.
