Lumbeat - need to buy full version again for MacOS?

I have paid for full versions of five of the Lumbeat apps on iOS and afaik, you can also use the Mac Shop version as well on a MacOS pc (in my case Mini M4).

However when I go to load certain kits I have paid for via IAP on iOS, the MAC version keeps telling me to buy the full version?

Anyone else notice this, or perhaps is it some Apple shop bug (or even a bug in the Lumbeat app??) ?

  • I’ve noticed the same thing a few months ago, so I just didn’t use the Lumbeat drummers on that project. Really hoping that this will get fixed.

thanks - good to know it is not just my system!

  • It’s a bug. I think it has to do with the free version always saying it needs the upgrade. It does work, at times via the restore , but all the recommendations do not consistently work. Super frustrating and unreliable. I’ve reluctantly given up using it and with the incoming soft drummer update, I fear it will follow the same model.

Sorry, I just realized you were talking about the kits not auv3. Which is my above info.
But yeah, you are right, kits won’t always restore…..but sometimes do….which exhibits similar behavior to the auv3

I’ve had the same issues as well. You’re not crazy! (At least not in this regard)
