This turned into an experiment to see what I could do with a 40 bar motif from Piano Motifs.
The same motif is used in all 4 sections but given (hopefully) a different style by changing the bpm and orchestration.
Everything (including the drums) is played by PM other than the melody line which is reused across the 4 sections and features SWAM VariFlute, SWAM Soprano Saxophone, Gong Lead and SWAM Viola, all played with GeoShred

I agree with JWM. Nice to mix multiple styles into a single piece, yet it sounds like a single composition. Did you create these separately and bring them into the final composition?
Piano Motifs is still my favorite app. It almost feels like it has an AI component. I seem to get different results based on the day, the weather, or my mood. It’s always an adventure. Have a great day!

I worked on them all separately Paul, playing around with the bpm, instruments and leads until I was happy.
Recorded 4 separate takes and then merged them all together via file players with suitable offsets in AUM.
I totally agree about PM… it’s a great app !
Definitely chill out music. Not that I do it anymore, but this would be great music to listen to after coming home from a club blitzed.

Some very lovely tones. Very peaceful tunes. I loved the different variations. They all sounded very different but taken as a whole, the pieces have a common vibe. Nice work.
