  • Good to hear. Am still enjoying this app.

@ibiyikoglu Still think that you should remove the the menu buttons from where they are and put one button you could access these functions from, a good place to put it is next to the IAA controls, also i think you need to do something with the colour choice used in the library , its difficult to see presets at times.

  • the GUI is changing completely :) We started working with a really good design team, they are preparing gui for both ipad and iphone. I think everything will be ready in september :)

  • Good luck, look forward to it.

+1, and thanks for iPhone plan. I really like these sounds

  • Great, thanks!

  • Thanks! It's a great synth.

  • Thanks for update looking forward for it.

  • I've got the latest desktop full version of Synthmaster and have been trying to get the presets I own for that showing in the player version which I have upgraded to pro. I put my registered email in and the licence number from the desktop version as instructed. However the preset pack I own in the desktop version does not turn green as it says in the user manual to download. Anyone else had this problem and if so how was it resolved?

Please double check that the serial number you enter is correct. The easiest and reliable way to register is by using iTunes, transfer your desktop license to your iPad using iTunes and then the registration will be hassle free.

Please check the help manual, it clearly shows how to transfer your desktop license to your iPad.

  • Cheers for the fast response our give that a go not a big fan of iTunes and had problems reading the manual as you cannot make it bigger. But to get the extra presets in it worth a go. Cheers

  • that's the most reliable way, entering the serial number by typing is always open to mistakes

  • Synthmaster player is updated to 1.0.10 on the App store.

With this new version users are able to delete presets from their user bank, and able to delete an entire bank as well. Restoring previous purchases are also improved, instead of restoring all banks at once, now the user has the option to choose which bank to restore.

  • This is my favourite aspect of being a member of this forum, developers taking the time to keep us informed of what is happening with their apps. wonderful stuff! and very much appreciated.

Just a quick plea - if you guys are redesigning your interface, please consider including an option that for live use - SUPER easy to read, no small fonts, etc. -

I have yet to find an iPad interface that I would trust to read knob labels on a busy stage with my 50 year old eyes, let alone try to read and select different presets.

The Alchemy and Korg Module interfaces are close to being acceptable, but again, the latter uses tiny fonts to select different presets/patches

I ain't gonna adjust my bifocals to select no patch on stage in front of a bunch of kids, gawdammit!

But seriously, I'm still amazed nobody in the iPad world has considered this! Since we can't use our fingers to 'feel' if we've got the right button, easy to see BIG FONTS are especially critical - and sliders instead of hard-to-rotate knobs!

Check out the Valhalla Reverb apps for examples of an easy to read interface.

Anyway, just my suggestion - I think if you guys had a super easy to read/use interface for live use, coupled with your killer sounds/presets/powerful synth engine, you would have the synth to beat for iOS live use.

    OK, rant over.

Thanks a lot, every opinion is very valuable for us

  • Keep it on, good luck:)

    Thank you!

BTW - I am a happy owner of both your PC and iPad versions, so please view the above comments only as positive suggestions from a happy user - I think your synth sounds and engine are the ones to beat on both platforms.

November now . . . :) any new estimates on when the new design is ready? just curious.

  • yes, sorry we're late :( i think first week of december you'll see it on the app store

  • And the iPhone version?

  • Just had an email with an offer of 50% off Synthmaster Player iPad Pro ($4.99), but there is no info on it - does it do anything more than offer a larger or higher res screen?

Thanks for the quick reply! I was thinking about getting some of the sound packs, but I know that I don't open apps that don't look nice as often as the nicely designed ones etc. Nice to hear your update is coming soon :)

    Hi!,

with pro upgrade basically you get these:

    • 800 presets
    • be able to save your tweaks
    • if you have desktop version, be able to import your own sounds
    • some more tweak options, like key vibrate, arpeggiator off/on etc
