Do you have a good idea (Plz post up)? -Transferring guitar effects between projects

I made a page for developing guitar effect idears.
Its necessary for managing all effects.
It’s neat, the sequence of effects on the bottom of the page reflects my signal chain from left to right.
It takes time to develop nice signal chains for effects.

-I’m looking for a way to transfer this page between projects, cuz I’ll be working on the phone outside, maybe I make an effect or two. I’lluse the same page between all projects.

Its stupid of me to ask forthat because I tried to save a proj as an auv3, and copying it to another project (copy paste), it made the widget actions dissapear. Still having this ordered effects page between projects makes it a easier to manually program…

Is there another way I should consider doing this? Third party effect wrangler? I guess an effect memory app would need to send loopys enable/dissable messages, as they are essensial for saving memory.. Can I use midi messages instead??

Thanx for thinking aloud

  • You could have make that project a template. And use the template to start new projects.

    @espiegel123
    Let me think
The versions of the projects will be different though.
In the ipad its 6X5 but on the phone its 3x3

I would need to have the other project completally muted on a different page to be able to save them together on the same file?
That would still take up CPU on the poor iphone(?)

  • Can I still have it be the same project and have far less stuff on the other, and transfer the guitar patches?

If you turn off effects, they don't use any DSP processing.

  • @espiegel123 Do you swear by the CPU Lords?

Pure synth sure drives a wrench in my projects but I guess mostly when its on

Just try and see. If you mute puresynth, it should use no DSP. Are you not finding that to be true?

See what happens when you turn off your effects.

  • I’ll set it up
