In Motion (Omnisphere, Vital Series: Mallets, Noire, Repro-5, Continua)

This is a music track that I improvised on two MIDI keyboards connected to Bitwig Studio on a desktop PC. There the MIDI was routed to Omnisphere for the Music Box Guitaret, Vital Series: Mallets for the vibraphone and glockenspiel, Noire for the piano, and Repro-5, Continua and Omnisphere for the background instruments.

After bringing the audio recording into Vegas Pro, I applied the Lurssen Mastering Console plug-in to the audio mix.

It's titled In Motion.

  • As an owner of Omnisphere I'm trying to pick out the Omnisphere sounds. I recognize the main pad. Great instrument. Best 500 bucks I ever spent. Anyway, another great soothing track.

I agree. It's a very versatile synth engine.

Most of the Omnisphere presets that I use are from Luthrum Sound Design (https://www.luftrum.com/). The presets here are Music Box Guitaret, In Memorium, Motion District Day, and Motion District Night.

I've attached a Bitwig Studio screenshot showing the track. The yellow ones are Omnisphere.

  • Another very restful track David… lovely sounds 👌
