Hey @lbiyikoglu I came to this forum to say that I'm having the exact same issue as the user above. I just downloaded Synthmaster on my iPad and tried to restore my expansions, but even though the app is saying that the expansions and presets have downloaded, I still have the same presets from when I initially downloaded the program.
@Lilshaun94 please pm me your email address so that I can check it from our database
I am in the same state as well. Now I have sent an email to the support page.
There is a problem with SynthMaster Player at the moment as well. When you tap on ‘demo’ to audition a new sound pack - the whole thing crashes and you are back at your home screen (Air 1,2 and 4). I emailed the support page as well - which must be yourself @lbiyikoglu?
me too. The three new expansions of Synthmaster Player also don't crash, but I get an error and can't download. I emailed that as well.
I just messaged you.
I’ve finally had a chance to play with this. So I’ve made a preset on SynthMaster 2 on iPad, exported it to iCloud files.
If I then go to SynthMaster player on iPhone I can’t find a way to import the preset from the files app.
Is this how it’s supposed to work?
+1 never got the FREE bonus expansion presets. I also emailed and reported issue repeatedly.
If you ever find out, let me know. I made a preset bank for Synthmaster 2 last summer, but I have no idea how I can share it with others...
One way is to press Sync your presets with the cloud in the main box, that way your own presets will be shared to SM users in the online library.

Thanks. I'll look into that.
Is there an option to fine tune knobs like windows shift left click? Or may be a insert value option?
Hi there
While changing the parameter value, please move away from the knob. This will let you fine tune the knob value.
Hi guys,
It's been a long while since we last updated SynthMaster 2. Now that SythMaster 2 iOS is released, I am back on track for updating SynthMaster 2. Sorry for long delay...
In our next update we have 3 important new features:
There are also critical bug fixes:
I will continue listing the changes/fixes, there are so many.
Cheers
Bulent
Hi @kv331audio_bulent,
Option 3 in the critical bug list is something I am really really really looking forward to, at the moment Synthmaster 2 is the best programmable synth on iOS and I intend to continue using it for many years to come but the mapping bug has been quite problematic.
Mike
Agreed. The amount of times I start to use SM2 and then stop again mainly because of the AUv3 bugs. This is exciting to see, much as we know SM3 will come eventually, an improved SM2 is a very big deal. My main thing is that I'm constantly attempting to map CC74 and aftertouch to design expressive patches and then so much weirdness ensues. Looking at the Matrix and my added modulations don't appear even though there's no filters and I've just last-touched the particular control so it should be the active one in Matric (EG filter cut off). Standalone is slightly different, less UI bugs if I recall though I haven't tried it in a long time.
Thanks @kv331audio_bulent . I look forward to more.
Thank you very much for the bug reports. I am happy to share that "mod matrix filter should be updated when a knob is tapped" bug is fixed now. Also, the mod matrix filter was not being updated when user selects a new modulation source from the modulation sources tab. That bug is fixed as well!
This is exciting. A freshly debugged SM2 is like having a whole new synth. Inshallah
Another useful feature added: When you tap a modulation matrix entry, the source and target are displayed (if they were not visible, they are made visible by changing the tabs automatically), so you don't get lost where the source/target was. For instance, in the below example, mod matrix entry 4 has LFO 1 as source, and Filter 2 as target:
I am more excited about Synthmaster 2 than the Zenology GX - which I won’t be getting.
Another important new feature will be: Presets / Waveforms / Samples / Scales are now stored under user documents folder (and AUv3 can access the user documents folder)
I wanted to talk a little bit about this one. So far, many users have complained that they could not delete imported waveforms, samples etc. and they could not arrange preset folders because they were invisible (under AppGroup folder). So, it was time to fix this important limitation!
When the new version of SynthMaster 2 is run for the first time, it will move files automatically:
{AppGroup}/Presets to {UserDocuments}/Presets
{AppGroup}/Waveforms to {UserDocuments}/Waveforms
{AppGroup}/Samples to {UserDocuments}/Samples
{AppGroup}/Scales to {UserDocuments}/Scales
As a test case, I saved presets with the older version of SynthMaster 2, and then ran the new version. The saved presets are now under user documents folder, visible via Files app:
FYI: the standalone app should be ran once before running the AUv3 so that the standalone saves shared settings like user documents folder path. This is the same behaviour in SynthMaster 3/Player.
Great to see updates to SM2! Thank you @kv331audio_bulent!
Will there be a legacy version in case the updated version fails to support previous Cubasis (in this case) projects? It will be disastrous if another update makes previous presets unlinked/unavailable. I use SynthMaster 2 instances in many projects, a great great app.
Why would it fail to support Cubase projects? The plugin ID has not changed.
Hi @kv331audio_bulent,
This is so exciting, do you have a rough timeline when the new SM2 update will be available?
Mike
Because a previous SynthMaster 2 update did change the ID, but it was corrected quickly, and thanks again for fixing that. Just wanting to make sure…
And the issue was with Cubasis as stated, not Cubase.
Just submitted v1.0.23 to Apple for app review. Lot's of bug fixes, stability improvements and new features:
v1.0.23 Build 17224
NEW FEATURES:
1. Saving presets is now implemented using Files app
2. Loading presets now take place inside the main thread to prevent crashes
3. Standalone app and AUv3 plugin now share the same documents folder
4. Added Undo for preset loads
5. Added ui sync for mod matrix entries: When user taps a mod matrix entry, the source / target are made visible automatically
6. Added global text font size parameter to allow users change user interface text sizes dynamically
7. Added fade in/fade out of audio during preset loads
8. Added version checking
9. Added log file export
BUG FIXES:
1. Preset author, bank name and company name textboxes are linked to preset author parameter
2. Preset browser doesn't list presets correctly when text is entered into preset name textbox
3. Global settings and midi mappings should be saved when modified
4. When user searches presets by bank name, exact string match should be user
5. When a modulation is selected from the modulation sources menu, the mod matrix filter should be updated
6. When a knob is tapped, the mod matrix filter should updated
7. Frame window is not scaled correctly for some devices resulting in bottom part clipped
8. MIDI Banks are not loaded correctly
9. MIDI Program Change messages should be ignored when the same PC message is received multiple times
Brilliant, looking forward to it. Accessing the modulations is a huge one for me. Also because the other way to navigate those, the sort of NI Massive style, two different rings if you hold a control, also wasn't working for editing the depths. I think. I think in standalone it worked, so there was the possibility to sound design in the standalone but then it was going to be abstract away from the context of the production in the DAW. So long as at least one user path exists that will do for the forseeable! Thanks again.
Finally out!
