Double clicking top of BeatMaker 3 or similar apps makes it minimized (IOS 26)

Since updating my IOS to 26, I notice when not using full screen mode,, double tapping or tapping at the top of an app, minimizes the app. then I have to hit the green circle to maximize it again. Is there any workaround or do I need to go back to full screen mode?

    Disable Stage Manger / Windowed Apps from the Control Center.

    In Device Settings > Multitasking & Gestures, select Full Screen Apps.

    Ok..I guess that's my only option. I like the windowed apps, but they should make some option for turning off double clicks.
