M-VAVe Chocolate Threshold Recording
I have Loopy Pro set up for Threshold Recording and it works on touch. But when using the MVAVE Chocolate foot switch, recording starts as soon as I press the button I have mapped. Has anyone else encountered this? If so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Have you edited the binding by going to Record Setup > Edit Overrides > Loop Threshold Recording to turn it on?
Yes and it still behaves the same.
Can you post screenshots of the settings for the binding? In the meantime, I'll do some tests here rather than just tossing out guesses.
Also, are you recording MIDI or audio?
I am recording audio
I notice right off that the binding shows "Also Play/Stop Clip 4". It looks like you have a conflicting binding. You probably shouldn't be adding this Recording binding, instead using the recording options on the Play/Stop binding. But if you want two separate bindings then turn off "Record if Empty" on the Play/Stop one.
The double-binding is the problem. In Loopy Pro, triggering something that is already waiting to record jumps immediately into recording.
btw, before you kick yourself for not seeing that, it's a understandable source of confusion. The Record on Empty option in Play/Stop is super convenient, and makes sense once understood, but it's a tiny bit unintuitive to have both options available. Think of the Record action as being there for when you need finer grained control.
I am short on time tonight. Heading to a gig....I will dig deeper tomorrow. Thanks for your help. Meanwhile I changed the bindings and it doesn't seem to make a difference. Threshold works with touch but not with the pedal here is a video and a few more pics. Thanks for the help. I'm new at Loopy Pro but not looping....so my prior knowledge may be hindering me.

Please show the details of the binding.
And double-check the individual clip’s settings and its color’s settings in case one of them is overriding the global settings.
Could possibly also be a binding in the Global profile that's not apparent when looking at the Project profile.
