New ear training app: Must see ..
My ear crapped out pretty quick in the tests. . This app looks fantastic. It’s $5 per month though but it seems worth it. And it’s a fantastic video.

But there are plenty that we don't pay a sub for that are as good, at least I find them to be as good. Tonality, Earpeggio, and BerkleeOnline Ear Trainer are all brilliant. No subs here.
@Fantastic : Aside from the sub though were you able to do the exercise she demonstrated? Her videos are superb..
yes, and yes she is. i use the apps i mentioned, a lot, so her big point late on, on not relying on the context of specific songs is dealt with, by all these apps. i also recommend the Ears Have Walls book by Dickinson, though an app has the advantage over a CD of being pseudo random, the Dickinson book is jazz-centric which nearly nothing else is to the same extent. There's an Aebersold which is, but it's nowhere near the scope of the Dickinson book.
