Even after resizing? I don’t have an issue with any of them being too small after resizing the window.

I would recommend trying to at least. The 4 apps I have from them all look fine after resizing a bit. Maybe an issue with the app itself possibly.
He told me to look into it after some friendly mails. There‘s a fresh update now, switches work fine!
I have a love and hate relationship with this plugin. Often it sounds great just by being there, but sometimes it can completely ruin and suck the life out of the sound when inserted on a track, even with everything ( green checkboxes) disabled, almost like if it buggs out on certain frequency curves.. anyone else experiencing this?
You might check if it uses oversampling, and see if you can turn it off.
Thanks but It's not the oversampling, I've tried everything. I've attached an audio file with a demonstration starting with it off and then switched on, and switching back and forth. Both EQ, Gate and Compressor as well as Oversampling were disabled when it was switched on.
You can hear how it destroys the spring reverb on the snare. The Strip was added on a send track stack/group in Logic.
OK. It's still possible that the plug-in includes a limiter or low-pass filter that cannot be disabled.
Hi! I read here at the forum that The Strip is on sale, along with many other DDMF apps. I’ve been trying to prioritize purchases that help me have a faster and more efficient workflow without overloading the CPU of my relatively old iPad while also retaining that vintage/analog factor. I really like DDMF apps, but, considering I already have Audio Damage’s Channel Strip and MixBox, not to mention the 6144EQ, do you think The Strip would be a valid purchase, not in terms of quality (which I think it would be), but necessity? Thanks a lot!!!
If you do not have a single compressor then it’s a reasonable purchase. It’s got the same EQ as the 6144, a gate and a compressor, and I can’t think of a single time I’ve used a gate on a “channel strip”
Yeah, I think you’re right. Even when I use the built-in channel strip on Cubasis I leave the gate alone. Maybe it’s not a necessary purchase. Thanks! 😊
Back around the turn of the millennium, having a mixer with a gate on every channel was wonderful… because the hardware in that era, certainly a lot of the cheaper stuff I could afford was noisy!
@Rodrigo1709 The reason I bought this plugin last year was because I use to the mixing philosophy that resembles the old days of console mixing. I do have Mixbox which is what I used previously but I am trying to to get away from it as it may break any day since it’s abandoned by IK.
This may sound more vintage than Audio damage strip plugin. But I do not own it so I can’t speak for Audio damage.
I use a gate mostly on vocals.
Even after reflecting on what @audiblevideo said above, I was still considering purchasing it exactly because of this console mixing workflow, combined with how overwhelmed I’ve been feeling with so many different screens I have to see per channel when I’m mixing. My latest project uses VintageRack by Igor Vasiliev in every channel exactly because of that, since I can have EQ, compression and other FX mostly in a single screen.
But I just checked the App Store and the sale has ended, so it’ll give me more time to think. Also, thanks for the tip regarding the gate on vocals!

I really like RRS apps, so Punch is really interesting to me. Do you think it’s CPU-efficient to the point where I can use it in all my channels?
