I was wondering about Knock too, i miss Beatformer a bit, i have Punchlab which i do like, but was still wondering how Knock performs. Relatively speaking how is it on cpu? Sound on drums, etc…? Any Knock users out there that could possibly provide some insight, would be helpful, thanks.
Paul used to post the sales on his Facebook page at about 5pm Friday my time (while you guys are asleep). I reposted them here just because I am a fan of his software and wanted to help him sell a few more copies.
But with his Facebook page gone it is hard to get the info, so I might just leave it to you from now on. I've got other things to do on a Friday night.

You can’t 🤷
This looks kinda cool, though lack of AUv3 would be a huge bummer. Can anyone at least confirm whether it’ll process ipad system audio? From the description I suspect it doesn’t, sounds like you’d need to send audio in via the ipad mic or an audio interface.
YOU NAILED IT! I wanted to like it. I thought it was a nice, neat looking interface with all your programming laid out in front of you, but something kept nagging at me. Then I realized:
1 All that advanced programming of beats I did in Patterning with polyrhythms doesn't apply.
2. All of that crazy math I did in Sector to make it a beast doesn't apply.
3. All the love I have put into Samplr doesn't apply.
4. Etc, etc, etc...
Now it makes sense:
A. I loathe working in Gadget but love some of the instruments.
B. I don't like using a keyboard or keyboard style layouts. I tolerate the keyboard layout in Fugue Machine because of the magic I can create. I like pads. (Would love to see a midi interface for all note/beat machines that displayed midi programming in PADS) Or, the dream instrument: Patterning MIDI but 16 pads + All MIDI parameters programmable! Glide too!
C. I can tolerate keyboard layouts if they do cool shit like Fugue Machine or do slides or polymeter or something weird.
So, I will restate your premise, "SAND(box) is a gadget for those who love to program in GADGET but want to bring their own instrument."*
*note: geared towards note programmers and daw lovers. all others: see AUM.
Good show, Dr. Watson! You've solved the puzzle!
Confirmed, it can't process system audio, only mic input or audio interface input.
Thanks @Gavinski
I was also wondering why the chord pads are blank, when you can see the notes in the edit page. Maybe in an update. Cheers mate.
