I edited the video in premiere and it took me much longer than I thought it would be, something like a month lol. (sorry for the clickbait thumbnail ahahha)
Anyway, I hope you have a good time watching it. :)

    I'm listening now. Hella groovy, a sick and dirty bass, it's like French House on steroids. Good god, what is this masterpiece?! Definitely worth waiting for. What apps did you use for creating this banger?

    I used Kord Phoenix / Bleass Megalit / Alpha for the synth.
    I also used Tapescam by @charlesv for the synth and guitar to add a bit of sweet dirt, I can't recommend this one enough. Lots of Turnado too !
    The bassist uses my cheap Zoom pedal b1x (he doesn't have his own pedal yet lol).
    And I guess a lot of processing to make it sound loud but okay, I definitely have room for improvement especially when I listen to your prods 😁

    And, man, your mixing is so solid with a lot of sauce. I love Korg Phoenix for lighter pads and Megalit and Alpha for drones when I make Ambient in Koala Sampler (yes, it hosts AUv3s since about a month ago). I love those synths. Although my favorite synth for quick drones to sample into Koala Sampler is Kiev believe it or not. I can get an evolving soundscape going near instantly.

    And, "make it sound loud", yeah, me, I just load the unmastered audio into Cubaiss, slap on BarkFilter's Tripleband preset, followed by Cubasis' Brickwall set to -1dB (just so to create headspace when downsampling the audio), and Youlean's Loudness Meter to get the mix around -8 LuFS, which seems to be the sweet spot for EDM and HipHop. :)

    Wow I didn't know about Koala hosting auv3s, it makes me want to buy an iphone just to use it as a daily mini sampler.
    Thank you for the mastering tips, I sometimes have a tendency to overcomplicate things when in reality simple steps are just better. x)

    Bonjour! I have to agree with @ecou… groovy! Such a great word that nobody uses anymore. I would love to see this in the Metro. Years ago, I had the great pleasure of visiting Paris and saw many independent artists performing there. People don’t do that in Chicago! Which one is you?

    Thank you! Yeah exactly, I reassure myself by thinking people actually want to see humans on a stage. Since AI has come out, I'm less and less being hard on myself when I make mistakes on stage too.

    I haven't got my old ass up to dance in a while, yo. But dang if you didn't get me groovin in my room here. Seriously funkay! I loved the break to social media feed at 1:30. the video was some work, I guess, but is excellent. Fits the vibe perfectly.

    Glad you noticed the social media break. I think it gives a little breath and I like the way the bass comes back stronger when it ends :)

    Yes if I only all our gigs were like that in the center. We've had "big" crowds but I prefer this setup even if it's only a few people ahah. Thanks for listening
