A New You! Koala ambient thing

I did this one this morning in a sort of (very slow) flurry. It's 2 samples and 3 instances of audiothing's noises (so in reality lots of samples) done in Koala with Blackhole standing in for the koala reverb. It's nothing special, but I like it and I really like the video I found to stick it over!

Thank you!! Hahah me too, me too!

  • This is so good. I've always liked how you combine music and visuals in your work; it's always unpredictable. This may be one of my favorites: it's funny, strange, moving and ambiguous. I'm this close to asking where do you find these videos, but it could be some sort of secret ingredient and, if so, that's fair. :)

Thank you so much! I'm surprised myself at the videos!! Generally I look for something that is just sort of melancholic, but occasionally I find some really weird videos and I just have to use them... This was one of those.

There's no real technique, I just trawl things like "VHS ephemera" on archive org and do searches for VHS stuff on YouTube. I watch a lot of boring and fake VHS films , but then something weird catches my eye! I just found this amazing channel called vintage schools TV on YouTube... It takes me right back
