Nugget 02 - Series 9000 by Sketch Audio, LLC - Available for preorder
https://apps.apple.com/app/id6767371080
Series 9000 is a low-pass filter effect based on the steep, sixth-order sound made famous by a late 80s rackmount sampler. For fun, we included a 12-bit quantizer and added a few original features, too. Watch your fingers, this thing cuts away frequencies like a samurai sword!
Features:
- Completely free, no unlock required!
Four controls:
- Cutoff: like the hardware, this filter doesn’t close completely
- Drive: subtle to extreme. At 0 dB, you’ll get a fully clean sound
- Q: filter resonance
- Envelope: envelope follower to cutoff modulation, adaptive release
Light or dark color scheme.
Series 9000 is an AUv3 effect plug-in. For best experience, load the plug-in on an effects slot in a compatible host. You can also preview the effect in the standalone with our new mini-player.

A preorder for a free plugin?
No money are drawn when it's a paid one either (until actual release) yet many developer want it. I have no clue why.
So did we just pre-order a $139 plugin? (Only partly kidding)
Edit: nvm I do see where it reads "completely free"in the description
To judge interest? 😎✌🏼
Well, in my case it worked.
I guess that it boosts things in the charts, as it means that right off the bat there's a chunk of sales all counted as happening at the same time, that's the only logical reason I can think of. People care about chart ranking for both visibility and egoic reasons. That said, free plugins don't usually bother the upper reaches of the free music app charts anyway.
It's nice to sanity check the App Store links before launch, but everyone on this forum finds new plug-ins so fast I might have to be sneakier about it
That makes sense.
