Minimal means

I made three smallish samples with the new Backroom Piano app (which I like very much) and sent them through Drone Meditations.

This came out the other end.

  • Really like the video. The sounds work too but I wonder do you make the ambient track and then conjure a video for it or do you just work a lot on video ideas and have a backlog that you can fit around your productions?
When I first began listening to ambient genre I liked it a lot for background while reading and this one works well for that. I've dabbled with ambient ideas but now, because of you and others here, I feel like I've got to make a video to go along; but that's a whole new skill set.

    Thank you.

I always make the audio track first. I do indeed have a cache of little video clips to draw from when the time comes to make a video.

I use Imaginando’s VS 2 in making these videos. I know very little of its workings because I don’t like reading manuals or watching tutorials. Yet I find that I can get pleasing results even with my tip-of-the-iceberg knowledge.

What I’m saying is it’s not as hard as it looks.

  • Absolutely beautiful work, Yvonne. ❤️

    Thanks.🙂

  • The blurring together of sounds that are already atmospheric, combined with your choice of layered scan footage, is lovely. And in the beautiful sense of the word, haunting. <3
