@Squishy did you pick it up? Value your opinions on purchases.. whatcha think?

Its great for a dollar, no question about it. It sounds good, 3 midi out channels, 1 for chords, 2 for piano, 3 for string. Makes it easy to play chords, bass, and lead on same screen at same time.

I did find one issue playing around with it, it seems the chord transpose is off. I thought it was global, then i thought it was by individual chord, then i realized something was wrong with it. After transposing down for instance some chords would follow and some didn’t. Then i sometimes had to transpose up for some chords to go down, it was a bit weird, but other then that, which I’m sure will be fixed soon, Omnisound was a dollar well spent. Im on ios 26.5.1 i think, iPad Air m3.

I’ll give it 4.5 strums out of 5. Lol. Its needs a quick fix on the chord transpose, but for the price and the functionality, it bumps up a bit for me. 4.7 once transpose is fixed.

Anyone know how to reach the developer? Want to let them know about that.

    Cheers all!

If you want to inform the developer and I think that would be great, I have been informing the Omnisound developer of many issues on this Reddit thread. They have been very responsive though and made multiple updates, including for example taking my suggestion about midi channels for chords/keys/strum:

Thats great to know, thanks. When i have a chance i will try to mention something about the chord transpose misbehaving, at least in standalone it definitely did.

New Update came out yesterday i think, to help with midi.

I tested the midi out in AUM sent chords on channel 1, piano on ch2, and string pad on channel 3, and it worked great.

For a $1 is a great buy, since its an instrument and a midi controller.

Something not quite sitting right with me about this one. G Stomper Producer is a very good Android app. This seems to have nothing to do with it or its developer.

One thing that wasn’t demoed in Doug’s recent video is formant preservation. Turning this on for vocals makes the harmonies sound much less like Mickey and Minnie Mouse.
