Terrible app. Do not buy. I will edit this post and explain later.
EDIT:
So, you set up your parameters genre, key, dark etc and generate. Gives you a chord progression, bass, arp and melody.
Press Generate again and nothing happens.
……So you get a one off chord progression etc for that set of parameters and that’s it. One would think pressing generate again would give you another version.
One can export as midi to make it sound better but the default sound makes everything sound like chiptune.
I finally got Noises by Audiothing. I've had this nagging feeling for a couple of years about this app. Came so close to purchasing it many of times. It's one of those apps that immediately exceeded my expectations and regret not going with my gut sooner.
If you click on the link, the iPhone version is in landscape mode and the iPad version is in portrait mode?! The UI looks tiny and has tiny knobs instead of sliders that I assume you trace up and down with your finger into the other tiny knobs. And it is 4 MIDI envelope filters you have to set up yourself with external MIDI. Usually I can see the use for something like this, but I am at a loss here... Sorry, I try not to hack on apps or developers, since I can't code at all so who am I to criticize, but whoa... and $5.99 is a lot to ask for something that seems like it is barely in Beta mode.

I don't think so, this dev has been making apps for maybe around 2 years. But I agree, I tried a few and wasn't very impressed (including his earlier version of this plugin. This new one seems to pretty much just have the functionality of using 4 instances of his old version, which was half the price of this)
