    This analysis is almost perfect. And indeed, this is a strength of AI. Because it is completely analytical and emotionless.

    And I'm leaving now. But I won't hesitate to stop the next boycott call and issue a warning. This happens here all the time. And it really should be moderated, because the forum culture is suffering - not to say 'does degenerate'.

    This is correct. Hallucination is a problem. But humans do that all the time excessively. Mostly working with humans, I can say this is an systemic issue. With the difference that it is mostly highly emotional.

    No. This seems to be a very fundamental problem here. And criticism should be allowed, unless we are dealing with a market-controlling syndicate.

    Do you also have an issue with comments (which are in the majority), that encourage members to buy apps?

    I can understand that.

    Criticism is welcomed, in fact, it’s encouraged. I just think it should be done with a certain level of respect for developers or anyone else involved. Constructive criticism is best. We are all human beings after all.

    Yes, i have often worried about this thread being too app-aholic, or over indulgent or buy-happy. This is not the intention. The intention is to help members find deals, freebies, new releases, or undiscovered apps. Ideally, any purchase made is only done so after some research and reasoning. Watching YT vids is my go to, before any purchase, but also, reading reviews, knowing your plugin/workflow needs, making a wishlist, etc… i think by sharing sales, deals, etc… it can, by its very nature, create a buy-happy atmosphere, but ultimately thats not the point of this thread.

    Also, one person’s favorite app is another person’s never been used app, so unless you’re familiar with that member and their preferences, just take opinions with a grain of salt, and do some research to find out if it’s something you personally want to purchase.

    Ultimately i just report and curate the sales. I don’t always have an opinion on the apps. If i do, and I’ll be the first to admit this, I do tend to share positive opinions, more often than negative ones. I think thats somewhat natural, possibly in an effort to not step on anyones toes. You know the old saying “if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all” this saying pertains more to in person social interactions, but i think its more common for people to share praise then criticism.

    This thread is not intended to create any pressure to purchase. It exists to inform, and share information in a respectful manner.

    If there’s no ‘try to buy’ option, or a decent number of vids, then unless we’re familiar with that particular developer’s record we’re mostly whistling in the dark when it comes to buying apps.

    That’s why positive, and negative feedback is essential on a forum such as this, as it’s quite often the only place to find it. Otherwise it’s just another free advertising outlet for developers. This is particularly pertinent considering the new wave of ‘vibe’ coded apps, with little or no available info.

    P.s. I do think your sales thread is excellent, and very helpful, but we do need proper balanced feedback elsewhere in the dedicated app threads.

    This is particularly concerning because the intended business damage has already occurred with the initial post. I believe, as I can see, this is an informative and guiding product listing thread here, and that sort of thing really shouldn't be happening here therefore.
