AlchemDie and Outgrowth

A felicitous pairing, i think.

Do you agree?

Comments

  • Absolutely!

I’ve been using Alchemdie a lot as both fx and generator. Very good stuff. I don’t have outgrowth or coastline, but want coastline.

Alchemdie is a fun lil noise synth

  • Very lovely! And excellent visuals again. You are so good at pairing your audio to images. Deeply envious! :)

And this piece alerted me to the Alchemdie, which was an instabuy for me, so a double thank you.

I see he is working on a Lyra 8 ish thing too. That’ll be interesting…

In this track you are hearing Coastline as an fx on Outgrowth.

And in the interest of completeness, I will tell you that AlchemDie is receiving the False Memory treatment.

  • Thank you, @rottencat, for continuing to seamlessly blend vision and music into art which is greater than the sum of its parts.

I'm only guessing, but you seem to draw inspiration from recently released apps. The devs would be pleased, because your releases (such as quell) are probably even better than a glowing review.

quell is beautifully languid and peaceful. Just as you named it.

Well thank you very much for your kind words.

I actually have a Lyra 8 in storage somewhere. It’s an unruly beast.

  • This is amazing, I love it. So minimal and beautiful

I thank you so very much @DimensionDoor!

One or my rules when buying a new app is that I try to use it at least once to make it new track.

I don’t think it keeps me from buying too many apps, but I don’t feel quite so bad about it.🙂

Thank you very kindly. This means a lot to me, considering the source.🙂

@rottencat : ah, a Fellow Lyra 8 owner. I’ve got one too. Here it is:

I love it because it puts my own lack of skill on a par with everybody else. :)

This sounds amazing. I want one

  • Wonderfully broody, trippy, and felicitous :) And as already said, you have a gift for pairing sound and visuals.

This is wonderful. And much more “ruly” than I could ever get mine to be.

    Would you mind a video?

(Love the Dylan ref, I wish I’d thought of it!)

(I have a green one too.)

  • I agree, lovely pairing of sounds and visuals 🙏
