Okay thanks.
Implemented Time stretch, tempo track, automation ( currently per track, but next step is to add per clip too) and a bit of ui changes / tidying. The ui is slow because it’s running in playground plus screen recording

Nice design!
good job !
Nice! 😎✌🏼
Finally AUV3 implemented. I totally forgot that my girlfriend had a 2015 MacBook Pro in the shade from uni days.

I Updated it with open core to sequoia and now It runs Xcode 26. It will need some thermal paste to cool it down a bit but does the job for now.
I can now change the audio code from Swift to something more solid.
This is amazing! I'm really loving to watch this evolve! ☺️
lol i see you are using same icon as me for Sends 🤣
Can you make a guitar for me too?
Just an update on my daw progress.
Audio warp ,quantize and fades implemented😎.
I just need to make the fades button sausage fingers friendly😅 and app will be ready to submit for test flight
Looks you won this race
I lost months by tuning CRUX, I am at least 6 months from beta, so well done 👍 👍
Hopefully all these things will push @LFS and His team to pick up the phase with the Cubasis updates
Bravo, this looks very promising!
@Paa89
Out of curiosity - what library you use for timestretch ? Signalsmith-audio ? (that's one I took)
Also what about multicore support ?
No plans for iPhone version ?
Yep same here. it is Signalsmith and apple accelerate for ffts.
I also have a custom stretch engine for the one shot sampler as I think Signalsmith will be over kill for this. I might change my mind later.
Yes. That has been implemented for built-in instruments, fx, and other parts of the app.
I do not have an iPhone unfortunately so I won’t be able to test as much. But never say never.😊
I have been testing CRUX I must say it’s very well done. I like most of the pads. My fav is warm front.
I need to make time to read your manual to understand it better. But boy oh boy, it’s a nice piece of work. I’d say it’s the best thing to Serum for iPad/
@Samu always on @LFS case
Hopefully I can submit the test flight next week so you all can have a feel
I'm actually spending more time with LogicPro for iPad than Cubasis but neither of them provide proper audio-editing functionality, heck the audio-editing capabilities in @dendy 's CRUX are more fully-featured and slicker to use than those two combined
total overkil, did some measurements, was considering to add it to MultiSampler oscillator but for polyphonic play to run it per voice it is absolute CPU killer (especially when unison is enabled :-))
What kind of features do Cubasis and logic lack?
Audio comp implemented. Needs fine tuning but works pretty well.

Naaa I wouldn’t place stretch on multi sampler that will eat the dsp.
I was struggling with the dsp meter going high around 30% with one midi synth track and audio track with stretch and tempo enabled. But with some tweaking it now sits around 9/10%. I can shared some ideas when you go back to working on your daw.

I have entire audio engine finished probably since may :-)) Pretty satisfied with performance ..
I am still lacking things like build in Drum sampler (obviously I am aiming on something like CRUX level, so another many months of work 🙈) and some bundled midi fxs too..
Still not decided what next after CRUX rejection.. need to rethink things .. so far looking on refactor to make codebase multi-platform to open doors for android and even desktop release cause this Apple shithole is where i don’t see bright future for myself
In LogicPro for iPad's case it's easy, there's currently no easy way to export audio and midi-events without digging into the project bundle using 3rd party apps and even then midi-events are nowhere to be found, no easy way to export user-presets, nor batch import 'ESX Sampler Instruments' but I get it, it's very like a 'marketing tool' to force people over to the Mac when they hit the wall with the iPad version
You can't 'save/export' a sample recorded in QuickSampler and the list goes on.
There's practically no destructive edits that can be applied to audio (other then bouncing down to a new track), no marquee tool to make precise or transient based selections and no way to make new audio-events out of the selections and well.
There's plenty of reasons why You started to cook this thing and I feel I can fully agree on all of them!!!
In the Case of Cubasis just look at the sorry thing they call the Mini Sampler...
And even here, no marquee too to chop audio into new events and the file-editor is well, at least partially usable but lacks marquee tool but at least it has a 'save to media bay' option to export stuff and on the positive side the whole Cubasis project is just a folder visible in Files.app unlike LogicPro for iPad with its 'project bundles'.
I know both companies have their 'reasons' but they don't make any practical sense in 2026...
WOW!
The thing I usually miss from Logic on ipad and have to go back to desktop for is its flex markers which cant even be looked at never mind edited. After which its probably the score window from the desktop version. I wish cubasis had proper flexibility of aux/bus routing, nested busses, eg a backing vocal bus into a vocal bus into a submix bus, and that 8 send busses is just a stupidly small limited number, (in my opinion). Just let all channel routing be flexible for god's sake. But then, I am forgetting that cubasis is by design meant to be cut down and not as full as cubase. But then they don't offer cubase for the platform.
