    The synths in Gadget ARE great, good quality sound and more flexible than they first appear. As Korg promised audio tracks when they launched Gadget, it would be extremely disappointing if they did not happen, and in my view they are already overdue. Being able to capture vocals and guitar, and sound from other apps, would make it a pretty complete recording environment.

    I suggest we really get into the nitty gritty of gadgets strengths and weaknesses and offer the feedback directly to Korg.

    For me, I'm staying with gadget and am working hard within its limitations. The feedback on my last track from a few of you tells me that for sure that mandatory eq on each channel and master channel is a must, and I agree. This means that multiple fx options need to be applied for each channel.

    Audio tracks or at least a sampler keyboard with wav editor is a much desired addition too.

    I have a few other requests but let's see what you guys say..

    Sort of amazing, and to its credit really, that so much good sounding stuff comes out gadget considering the lack of EQ/compression on each mixer channel.

    As far as I'm aware, some said they would tweet this stuff to @korgiapps on Twitter and I did share my Korg contact details with one member here

    So I don't know any further than that

    What I do know is that getting any solid commitments or straight answers from Japanese is virtually impossible unless u happen to be Japanese yourself..

    I think that's true of most app makers and especially true of corporate app makers. Nationality alignment or not.

    Hello. I said I'd contact Korg but I haven't gotten round to it yet (sitting down and thinking of what to say, looking for different addresses other than the one @touchconspiracy sent me, joining the Korg forum). Been busy TBH.

    But I will :). By the end of the week.

    And for the record I've had plenty of straight answers / commitments over the years from the various Japanese people I know... And I'm not Japanese.

    They are indeed. But they don't generally offer solid commitments on future features. That's kind of risky for them.

    Yes please! And since all of the volcas can have all of their parameters controlled via MIDI they could go so far as to add Volca Gadgets that were simply automatable MIDI CC only UI replicas. Probably sell a grip of hardware in the process!

    I wish Korg could some day update iMS-20, iPolySix and iElectribe to work as 'Gadgets' inside Gadget.

    The stand-alone apps would also benefit from the improved sequencer/automatisation present in Gadget to spark some new life to the apps. (Imagine iMS-20 with the Gadget Sequencer automating just about everything).

    The 'Gadget Sequencer' would also be a welcome addition baked into iM1, the original M1 had after all a built-in sequencer.

    Korg has already done the hard work so it's all about assembling and compiling the bits together, that is if the same team is responsible for all the Korg Apps :)
