Set up around ipad

Hi,
second. I would appreciate help from you. I own 16gb ipad..i should have gone with 32gb but was less aware back then. How could I extend this memory with flawless files exchange and best, real time action? Is 'WD my cloud' or somehing alike a good solution? Or maybe go virtual and by a cloud storage? How do you guys cope with limited memory of your ipads?

  • Not much you can do. Pick and choose your apps carefully, and avoid bloatware as much as possible. Try to stick with using lean music apps (DAWs, synths, midi controllers).

  • I have a 16 GB iPad. I don't use it as a storage dump. I keep audio files on Dropbox. Most apps will interface with Dropbox. Install only the apps you need. Sometimes I'll use an app just to create some loops and then delete it. I can always download again if needed.

  • Thanks all, I will try dropbox

  • Save up and buy the biggest thing you can, but in the meantime try to profit from the required self-discipline (constriction of art etc). Oh, and keep away from these rooms; WE are the bloatware...

  • There are a few devices that will set up a wifi network and allow you to access content on usb devices attached to those devices. They are battery operated as well, so a good solution if you want portability. I use the app GoodReader to access files from mine (I can't recall which one I'm using....it's at home.)

  • I remember it now. It was call Cloud FTP when I bought it, but the name got changed and the device got upgraded to this...

  • It might be it! As looking for the best portability. Thank You
