Itrack dock and a compatible control surface?

Anyone have success with the itrack dock and finding a compatible and working controller with faders that work etc. for using with either auria or cubasis?
My korg nano2 will not power on when pluged into the itrack and i wanted to find something that would?
I was looking at the iconnect series and wondered if these might be an alternative?

I want to record with a DAW but be able to use external faders and knobs etc as well as the ipad screen.
Even been trying to get my old Roland VS1880 to be used for the mixer but as yet no success.

Any ideas or experiences from others?
