SAMPLETANK PRO: You buy pro IAPs?
Did you buy Sampletank Pro IAP'(s)?
Are they worth it?
Is the sound quality better than say the factory instruments or Sonik?
I bought the synths and think they are really good, even though I hate samples.
Has anyone bought other than the Synthesizer Sampletank IAPs?
What can you tell me about them?
I also bought a new Elektrified IAP, but it is all loops and that isn't to my liking even know they are good.
I do love the new interface, it is so much better.
Very positive of Sampletank these days. That is a huge shift for me and glad to do it.

Comments
I went for the ST pro IAP and I think it sounds awesome, especially the vocal sounds. Dig out Doug's videos as I am sure he covered this pack for SoundTestRoom.
Is Pro the upgrade from SampleTank FREE? I've only owned the vanilla non-free SampleTank and like it a lot. I have not purchased the "All Sound" packs. Miroslav and SampleMoog are the two expansions I see most often praised.
That's right.
I sure will do that.
Yes.
But that is for the interface and other mechanical upgrades.
Any additional Sampletank Pro sounds are all IAP.
I have bought a few of the sound pack IAP's in the past for ST. I didn't buy any of the new IAP's. A bit on the expensive side for the amount I use ST.
I opted to buy IAP's for Animoog and Model 15 instead.
Concur.
Problem I'm finding is pulling the trigger when I already have iElectric and iGrand. The pack pricing for the full pack is the only sensible option, yet, then I am doubling those sounds on my iPad. I may be wrong, but I believe they are the same sounds
I've bought the Pro upgrade (and a few other)...
Sampletank Pro for iOS is really really something special!
Super satisfied!
Any favorite(s) from the IAP you've purchased or are they all of the same quality?
Care to elaborate or is that all they paid you to say?
Sorry, your post sounded so vague that it was like a paid review. Actually looking forward to some details about the pro difference.
I assure you it was not a reply in any way tied to IK. We don't do that. Any IK representatives/employees will have their affiliation clearly indicated in username or other immediately-identifiable means (which isn't always what I've seen from all companies on other forums...). And this is exactly why I haven't chimed in on this thread in the first place - was letting the users who enjoy the sounds (or who do not) give you their opinions.
What's worse is that you guys are like the freaking NSA swooping in as you monitor or like some kind of cyber stalker!
LOL
Kidding.
What is the benefit of buying the Smptank Pro IAPs vs the orig. IAP I have purchased?
I mentioned - I bought the synths and love it.
I am just wondering about the instruments and how they are different?
Okay, I admit this cracked me up. No offense to @ikmultimedia
I appreciate when a company makes their presence known, as opposed to stalking us.
@RustiK you could also check the official IK videos which were released to show off some of the new sound packs.
Fair play, but I still like real world testimonials, too. Who knows how those videos were mixed? Now if someone wants to say the app sounds just like the video...
@telecharge I would say so. In fact, one of them showed a hip hop style track being laid and I recreated it pretty closely but of course, sounds and IAPs are so subjective. Each to there own
@Martygras, fuck you!
My opinion is my own, but, my first language is not english so you maybe have difficult to understand my meaning...
IK Multimedias all apps have high quality, but, The new Sampletank have put things further again Pro segments...
I had a feeling this would happen, but I didn't want to butt in.
They are starting to do the pop up ads again, though not as bad as before.
I just knocked this together using Pro, Future Synth and Moog packs...
Sounds good. I take it you're into early 80's synthpop/new wave a la New Order?
@telecharge You see right through me
Yes, that was my era - leaving school in 1981 and setting off into the big world the early 80's became the soundtrack to my life.
This is one of my favorites from that era, though not in the same league as New Order IMO. They had some other good stuff, but Information Society is largely regarded as a one-hit-wonder for this song. I like the video, too, and it ought to brighten everyone's day -- even if only to have a laugh.
WOW, Errka, smiley face means joking, in , well, every f'ing language on the internet so thank you for the invitation. And I have been harassing Peter at IK for years so he should have seen the smiley face. Not that it would have mattered. Damn peasants I tells ya.
OK back to the funny bits. Here's a blast from the past...
Alrighty, then. The reason I didn't butt in before is because I don't know the level of familiarity you have with @ErrkaPetti. I saw your smiley face and knew you were joking, but your next sentence didn't seem as "jokey." Being accused of shilling can be very insulting to some, hence the response you received.
I only say all this with hopes of diffusing the situation. Even friends sometimes have a falling out. I sometimes joke and tease others here like @syrupcore , @JohnnyGoodyear , and a few others only because of past exchanges I've had with them. I do my level best not to assume any familiarity with anyone because of time as a forum member or post count, but I, too, fail at that sometimes.
Well, at least they have a guy playing synth (albeit with a Hitler mustache). Where is the keyboard player in the Information Society video? So much synth, and no one playing it.
Awesome point. Well taken sir.
So, that was mostly a blow era eh?
MDMA making itself known a bit.
@RustiK nope not for me
