Warp/Time Skretin app

hi guys,

I've to make a "imagine" remix for my school and want to warp it on iPad, like I can in Ableton Live.
Is there a app that exclusively do this? like, I don't want to buy another DAW only for this function (own BM2 and MODSTEP, wich I'm only starting diggin to)... I want to grid it to chop on the iMPC.

any way, is kind of urgent and didn't find any on the forum search twlking about this kind of "stand alone" function.

  • Blocs Wave sounds like a perfect fit, to me. Tell me you didn't miss the recent sale.

You already have what I'd recommend: BM2 timestretches, pitch shifts, chops to pads, imports from your in-device iTunes music...

    Great point.

  • why don't you just use the impc?

hi guys! Thanks for your responses...

I don't really have a good experience with Beatmaker 2. But as everybody likes it I'm wondering if restore the iPad or reinstall the app may solve my glitches and crashs (occurs a lot).

I started with it for chop, but for time stretching doesn't work. I'd like to time stretch like the Warp function on Ableton LIVE: take a cue point a put it on time, for example. Didn't figured out, at least, how to do this.

EDIT: @telecharge i've miss =( and thanks for indicating the other topic, I'll dig in :)

  • if you're talking about move a warp marker to a different location and then stretch from that location on, then if I'm not mistaken there isn't any app on iOS that does this, but if you want to stretch an entire loop then you can do this.

I'm searching for that thing you said first.
Best way to do it is organize my life to do this on Ableton Live (e.g.) and Import the warped track. hehe.

    Thanks everyone!

MTS does this, with the understanding that you'd box the section yourself (the last transient, left edge of the box, would be a spot u choose, the right edge u can stretch stretch stretch)

  • Auria pro will do it i think
