  • Odd, working as described here.

  • Thanks. That definitely got me there. Seems to be an activation threshold there getting tripped, and at a fixel pixel distance, becoming more of a problem the further zoomed out you are. I can see how that can be a problem with certain use scenarios. @LFS ?

the clip is still highlighted when you try to move it for the second time, isn't it? so a long press does what a long press is supposed to do- set the loop region to the selected clip...

  • Here's a little workaround for the above. Useful for other stuff, too. With long compositions, I've previously created a midi track and, using the Draw tool, drawn in clip sections with no notes. You can name them "Break", "Chorus" or whatever, or just make them as you need them. Name the track itself "Sections" or "Loops" if you want. You can then use this track as a way to quickly go back to whatever loop sections you want.

For me, this is what happens.
I select a region, lift, move it, lift to see if it lines up, moves it again, just a little and SNAP!! The loop locators snap to the region.

    Yep, that's what happens. :'(

Yes it is. But im NOT long pressing the second time. I actually move the clip a little bit, and then it snaps. Which it shouldn't.

Exactly. Every single time I try to make a micro adjustment, zoomed in to match up perfectly with the preceding loop, the L&R snaps into place. :/

    Hi Jakersaw,

The video was of great help in reproducing the issue quickly. A fix is planned to be included with the next Cubasis update. Also "Velocity snaps to 0 if grid is enabled" is planned to be addressed in the same update.

    Many thanks for your support!

    Best,
    Lars

  • Sweet! Thank YOU.
