I've never met Doug, but have corresponded a few times, and always found him to be a great bloke. Doug's cheery 'welcome to the soundtestroom' became a fixture in my early explorations of IOS music making, and inspired me so much. So now I'm very pleased that I have an opportunity to put something back.
