If you were using Reactor inside of Ableton Live, wouldn't it already be synced? Help me understand the use case for this...
Well, standalone for one.
Reaktor can be run as a VST/AU in every DAW. As can Native Instrument's Kontakt.
So for example, Logic doesn't have Link. But if somebody ran Reaktor or Kontakt in Logic at 120BPM, can they use Link to sync up with iOS, Android and other computers?
Somebody should check this out.
I can't do it because I"m not ready to upgrade yet.
for me I use it standalone, and I use Reason. Now I can pipe though audio into Reason in perfect sync. I mainly only run Reaktor for the Awesome Twisted Tools ensembles
I think I have the answer. You can do three things now:
Link Standalone Reaktor Instruments to Maschine and Traktor
Lock iOS, android Link-enabled apps, Ableton Link and Reason projects, etc, to standalone Reaktor instruments on computers.
3 Link Reaktor Blocks projects that control modular synths via CV Gate to Ableton Live projects *

How many apps have Ableton Link these days? Is the site up to date?

Here are the Android and computer ones:

I have a FB page that keeps a list on AUv3, but I don't have anything for this.
Reaktor Blocks eats CPU for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...especially if you're running a full project in a DAW. So yeah...a dedicated Link'd computer could come in handy.
