So, using xynthesizr to send notes to a synth (pads) in aum. Works well but when i try to receive clock in xynthesizr, from aum, it does not run.
googled it and aum does not send clock. xyntesizer does not have ableton link. once again mismatched apps. oh well.
The iTunes App Store shows it at $19.99. Is that the sale price?
Hate to say it, but gadget is still the best app for iPhone sequencing, but no midi out still. The only thing I want it to do is control Model 15! It has a great interface and automation lanes as well. Xynthesizr and Auxy are also great.
Yeah. I was just trying to sequence and record moog15 and other cool synths with the ease of gadget but it is never as easy.
Don't think you'll find much with the ease of gadget, particularly once you start involving other apps. Gadget is more like piano roll style sequencer, not a step sequencer. If you like that style of sequencing, you might try Beatmaker 2 on the iphone. Think you could also control gadget synths from it's sequencer as well if you wanted to have all notes in one place.
Yup. But although it's a piano roll it limits notes per pads on tokyo or bilbao. So it feels like a step sequencer to me. What i might do is keep using gadget and on a dublin part just export the midi and swap it out in auria pro with model 15.
I think that's full price
Funny, I was going to mention the 'constrain to scale' view in the piano roll as the big bonus you get with Gadget but got lazy.
I don't think that exists in any other iPhone piano roll. cough cough @midiSequencer cough.
Thumbjam & input scale lock w/midi thru, maybe.
midiSequencer already has some options for constraining to some scales using the button to the right of the Midi Learn button.
Indeed. Talking piano-roll style sequencers though. Only mentioned it (er, coughed it) because Tony's got a piano-roll sequencer pet project going on the side.
I hope he heard you, look forward to the much discussed piano roll sequencer he's been mentioning for quite awhile now.
@InfoCheck & @syrupcore

You mean this app?
Yes, I need to pick this up again folks.... once the midiSequencer rack version is done.
it worked on midi files too.....(thanks to Mozart for the notes!)

That's the one. If you ever get back to it, limited scale piano roll would rule.
